Check out what our VP of Delivery, Chris Wadle, had to say in our Q&A on efficient recruiting and how it’s directly connected to your business’s revenue.

Question: What is the Direct Connection effect of Efficient Recruiting and Business Productivity?

Answer: I think staffing companies often confuse efficiency and speed. Speed is important, but if you recruit efficiently regarding candidate quality and client fit, the client spends less overall time and effort to find the right person. This allows them to move projects forward quickly and frees up bandwidth for other projects/responsibilities.

Recruiting efficiency is a key part of our focus on hiring Sr. level recruiters, responding with the right resources in fewer attempts not only saves the client time but allows the recruiters to cover a broader range of needs which in turn allows us to provide a better overall service to all our clients.

Question: How are you impacting both?

Answer: It’s important from both an account management and recruiting standpoint that we operate as efficiently as possible. Communication is key for this, so I always stress the need to dig into clients’ requirements. We need to get the best understanding of what the client is trying to solve or accomplish by bringing this person in and, beyond technical skills, what is going to ensure they will click with your team/organization and be able to hit the ground running. Having that level of communication with clients and being able to communicate that effectively to candidates means we can fill reqs with fewer submittals and interviews, with consultants who are more likely to have a positive business impact.

Question: Why does IT Avalon do a good job at both?

Answer: Recruiting efficiency is a key part of why we focus on hiring senior-level recruiters. Responding with the right resources in fewer attempts not only saves the client time but also allows the recruiters to cover a broader range of needs, which in turn allows us to provide a better overall service to our clients.

Question: Is the secret sauce, the recruiters? Why?

Answer: Recruiters are certainly a huge part of it. Our service is the consultants we provide, and their performance is how we are judged by our clients. Having recruiters with the ability to truly understand requirements, and who truly understand their candidates’ situations is vital to ensuring that we are making the best match for both the client and our consultants. This leads to greater project success for the client and minimizes issues once consultants are on the project, meaning a better experience all around, and a great reputation for us.

In conclusion, the symbiotic relationship between efficient recruiting and elevated business productivity is at the forefront of our strategic approach at IT Avalon. With our VP of Delivery, Chris Wadle, shedding light on the pivotal role of recruiting efficiency, particularly through the expertise of our senior-level recruiters, we continue to redefine industry standards.
